Hi there. I’m Dina, a wedding and portrait photographer based in London. I would love to hear about your story but first, here’s mine just to get us started.
I was born and raised in Hungary but I always felt this is not going to be the place where I want to grow old. I met my partner, my best friend, my soulmate 8 years ago. Suzanne and I have been married for 4 years now and I am the luckiest person in the whole wide world to have her in my life. We made a life changing decision in 2012. We moved to London. As Janice from FRIENDS would say, “Oh, my God!!”. This was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. I love London. I can’t even imagine to live anywhere else in the world now. It’s an absolutely wonderful city that we’re lucky enough to call our home.
We are huge fans of travelling. We have been to 4 continents and several countries and cities and this number is growing for sure. This was actually one of the reasons I decided to offer destination weddings as well. I can’t live without travelling, I have to be on the move all the time, we live only once and this beautiful world has so much to offer that it would be a shame to miss all those astonishing places. My 2 favourite spots so far are New York, which feels like my second home, and Hawaii, for being an utterly mesmerising place – a ‘’Pandora’’ on Earth.
A little funny fact about us. We are the biggest fans of the ‘FRIENDS’ series. If you came to our home you would probably catch us watching it or at least listening to it as background noise. You can’t get enough of it, you just can’t. It’s hilarious.
Taking photographs was my absolute passion since my childhood. I remember asking my dad to lend me his treasured old Russian film camera so I can wander around the city and take as many photos as I can of our city and its people. Probably this was one of the reasons I started as a street photographer about 10 years ago. Later, I bought my very first digital camera. I remember that day very well as it felt like I had won the lottery. I originally graduated as a primary school teacher at a Hungarian University then I have re-educated myself in London to photography, specialised in weddings and portraits. My job is my hobby, I am finally where I belong, I love what I do and I am certainly cannot be grateful enough for this.
People tend to say I am an extremely friendly, chatty, easy going and funny person. I don’t want to argue with them about this.
So this is my story in a nutshell. I could easily talk for ages but this is not only about me after all.
It’s your turn now! If you feel you liked my story and of course my portfolio why don’t you share some of yours with me. I would love to hear about how’d you two meet, how was the proposal or anything really that you feel you want to share with me. I am a HUGE coffee drinker so why don’t we meet in a lovely coffee shop and chat about you and your big day. Shall we?
